Fish are grown in open net-pens that are exposed to the varying conditions of the sea. This leads to variable conditions both cage to cage and at different depths. Site monitoring provides farmers with a complete picture of the conditions being experienced by their animals enabling them to make informed husbandry decisions, improve growth and feed conversion and ultimately take better care of their fish.
Rugged & Reliable.
Our solution consists of underwater sensors that communicate acoustically, reporting crucial parameters such as dissolved oxygen, salinity and temperature to the centralized aquaHub. Data is sent from the aquaHub directly to the cloud via multiple telemetry protocols (Cell, Wi-Fi, Iridium). Data can then be viewed anywhere in the world, using a desktop computer or handheld device with our cloud-software platform.
